Roperhurst is delighted to announce that from 1st January 2015, and due to a sustained period of national growth in both fabrication and installation projects, we have relocated our operations to substantially bigger premises.

02/04/14 Four complete legionella training

Four Roperhurst supervisors have completed a course in the theory of sampling for legionella in accordance with BS7592:2008.

The course covered assessment of a pre-flush and post-flush sample collection using aseptic techniques, and sample handling and transportation.

14/02/14 B&ES Wales officially launched at the Senedd

As longstanding members of B&ES, Roperhurst was delighted to attend the launch of B&ES Wales at the National Assembly's Senedd Building last night.

20/12/13 Six water purification units head out of the country

Roperhurst oversaw the fabrication and assembly of an innovative water purification system, including framework, tanks, pipework, valves and pumps.  

The six units completed are destined for the overseas market where they will be put to immediate use to clean water in areas of impurity, caused either by spillage or natural disaster.

The B&ES has published "A Client's Guide to Building Engineering Services 2014", which covers all aspects of building management to help clients find the right contractor to deliver the job.

Included this year is an article by the Ductwork Group Chairman (and Roperhurst MD) Bob Lane introducing the new DW144, which will have a major impact in 2014 and beyond.

14/10/13 New St Teilo's School opens in Cardiff

Roperhurst was delighted to win the contract to install  fume cupboards into the science departments of the new St Teilos School in Cardiff, as well as workbenches and extraction for the solder classroom.

04/09/13 Update on the Prompt Payment Code

Just nine members of the UK Contractors Group (UKCG) are still choosing not to commit to the government-backed Prompt Payment Code after Midas and Seddon opted to back the voluntary initiative.

Code signatories undertake to:

- Pay suppliers on time

- Give clear guidance to suppliers on payment procedures

- Encourage god practice through their supply chain
