As longstanding members of B&ES, Roperhurst was delighted to attend the launch of B&ES Wales at the National Assembly’s Senedd Building last night.
Jane Hutt, Minister for Finance, sponsored the event which brought together key players in the building services sector in Wales.
Mike MacDonald, Chairman of B&ES in Wales, said “B&ES recognise the increasing devolved powers for which the Wales Government has responsibility, many of which directly impact of the sectors which the Association represents. The B&ES has therefore taken the decision to create a separate Region within its structure, such that Wales Government might better recognise B&ES as a result of this initiative.”
Bob Lane, Roperhurst MD and member of the B&ES National Executive Committee, welcomed the initiative, and paid tribute to the support and interest shown by Jane Hutt in the industry as a whole. The Minister has previously visited Roperhurst’s premises in Barry which falls within her constituency.
