Roperhurst has completed the installation of a comprehensive dust extraction system for the Ministry of Justice.
Recognising their obligations under the COSHH regulations, our client wanted a system which would allow them to operate their woodworking equipment safely.
We were tasked with removing an old, redundant system, and installing a range of ductwork and hoods to sanders, planers, lathes, circular saws and band saws.
In order to comply with the recommendations of HSE’s HSG258, we fitted pressure gauges at each extract point, clearly marked red and green to show a safe working environment.
