The new year got off to a flying start with an order on Christmas Eve to supply 200m of PVC/GRP ductwork and fittings in a range of sizes to a waste water treatment works on the East Coast of England.
As well as the usual range of tees, reducers, 90 and 45 degree bends, the client also wanted us to fabricated non-return dampers and u-bend drains.
As soon as we returned from our Christmas shutdown, we commenced work, and dispatched our ductwork in three phases to allow installation to get underway as early as possible in January.
The ductwork was reinforced with layers of chopped glass strand mat reinforced with our 20/20 fibreglass resin, finished in a RAL colour of the client’s choice.
